As more families struggle through these challenging economic times, Clothes For Kids anticipates serving more than 6,000 low-income children and family members in Snohomish County this year — and they could use your help.
The goal of the Clothes for Kids store is to help provide clothing that will keep children warm and help to preserve their dignity through their families’ financial struggles. So far this school year, they have already supplied 2,200 children with wardrobes.
There are a number of ways to support clothes for kids, either through a major gift or by making a monthly pledge and spreading your payments over 12 months. You can do either at www.clothesforkids.org. All donations are tax-deductible.
A sample of what a cash donation can provide:
-$100 buys a complete wardrobe for one school-age child!
-$50 buys two new children’s winter coats
-$25 buys four new pairs of children’s shoes
-$10 buys three new packages of children’s socks or underwear
