Ann Budharaksa, who along with her husband Joe, own the new Baicha Tea Room, confirmed Tuesday that the long-awaited restaurant will open Wednesday morning, with the official grand opening this Friday, Nov. 11. Located at 622 5th Ave. S., they will be open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Perfect day to open. I’m working from home today and am sure will need a mid-day break.

I stopped in there this morning but could not stay. It is beautiful and I look forward to going back. This is a great place for those of us who like tea more than coffee.
