The Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club recently had a visit from Colin Evans, a past Edmonds Daybreakers “hidden winner” award recipient, who returned to report on his studies and work since leaving Edmonds-based Scriber Lake High School.
The Daybreakers Rotary Club gives the hidden winner award to high school students who have succeeded in their studies while facing adverse circumstances. Since graduating from Scriber Lake, Evans attended the prestigious Cordon Bleu Chef’s training program in Portland, Ore. and is now working as a chef.
