The Edmonds-Woodway Warrior girls basketball team suffered a 59-47 non-league loss to the Issaquah Eagles Monday night.
The Warriors took a 24-23 lead into halftime but the Eagles had a strong second half, outscoring E-W 36-23. Turnovers also plagued the team, with E-W committing 22 to Issaquah’s 10.
Sidney Eck lead all scorers with 13 points while Madeline Kasper and Simone Jackson each had 10.
Eck, who also had 11 rebounds and two steals, was named the Revelations Yogurt Player of the Game.
The Warriors’ have two home games this week — vs. Mariner on Wednesday and against Cascade on Friday. Tip-off for both games is 7:15 p.m. The next Warrior Radio broadcast for the girls will be at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Kamiak High School.
