The Edmonds-Woodway and Jackson girls basketball teams traded baskets during the first half Wednesday and it seemed like it would be a close game throughout, as the Timberwolves took a three-point, 30-27 lead into halftime. However, Jackson outscored E-W 15-5 in the third quarter and the Warriors were plagued by turnovers (a total of 22 for the game), and the Timberwolves came away with a 56-43 home win.
Sidney Eck led the Warriors with 18 points and was named the Revelations Yogurt Player of the Game.
You can listen to an archive of this game and other past E-W boys and girls games on Warrior Radio. We will also be broadcasting live from Meadowdale High School this Saturday, starting at 5:15 p.m., when the E-W girls and boys teams meet their cross-town rivals in the annual “rubber chicken” games.
