Police seeking thieves who stole wedding dress from Edmonds home

Edmonds police are seeking tips from anyone who may have observed two wedding dress thieves as they left the scene of a burglary in downtown Edmonds earlier this week.

According to police spokesman Sgt. Don Anderson, the burglary occurred between 11 and 11:17 a.m. Monday at a home in the 500 block of Magnolia Lane. A witness was able to provide suspect and vehicle information: The getaway vehicle is described as a solid brown or bronze mini-van with horizontal molding lines running front to back, possibly a Pontiac Transport or something similar.  It was driven by a white male with sandy hair in his late teens or early 20s. The second suspect, described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s, was seen smoking a cigarette as he exited the residence.  There may have been a third individual in the van but that has not been confirmed.

In addition to the wedding dress, thieves also stole a MacBook computer along with other items, Anderson said.

Anyone with information about this crime should contact Detective McIntyre or Detective Sgt. Bob Barker at 425-771-0200.  You may also leave an anonymous tip at 425-771-0212.
