It may be the holidays, but Edmonds-Woodway’s girls basketball team isn’t exactly taking it easy. The Lady Warriors have two tough non-league match-ups, facing undefeated 3A Shorecrest in an away game Tuesday night and hosting the defending 4A state high school girls champions Lewis and Clark from Spokane Thursday night.
Tip-off for Tuesday’s game at Shorecrest is earlier than usual — at 5:30 p.m. — while Thursday’s home contest begins at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on Warrior Radio.
The E-W boys, meanwhile, head north to a non-league tournament at Lynden Christian High School, facing Sehome at 4 p.m. Wednesday and Bellingham at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Both boys and girls teams return to league play next week with games against Lake Stevens High School — boys away and girls at home — on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Both of those games will also be broadcast live on Warrior Radio.
