With forecasts calling for continued sub-freezing temperatures and possible snowfall into early Friday morning, Community Transit will provide limited local and commuter service on Friday, Jan. 20.
Local bus routes again will operate the first and last scheduled trips and other trips as possible. Buses may only operate every hour or every two hours, but there could be even longer periods without service. There will be buses operating on every route, although the schedule will be irregular.
Regular Community Transit 40-foot buses will operate on the Swift route, which will run at 20-minute frequencies.
Downtown Seattle and University District commuter routes will operate first and last scheduled trips. If possible, additional trips may operate in between.
Route 414 buses will not operate.
Route 424 buses will not enter the Monroe Park & Ride.
Updates will be provided by 5 a.m. Check the Community Transit website.
