Michele Harps, owner of Michele Harps Art in Edmonds, will be the featured artist at the Coldwell Banker Office for the January Third Thursday Art Walk, Jan. 19, from 5-8 p.m.

Harps, whose studio is at the Firdale Village Shopping Center, will present a series of large color washes, ocean-inspired paintings and pop-art flowers on silver leaf for the Edmonds show.

After studying Fine Arts at the University of Washington, Harps worked as a clothing buyer for the Bon Marche and sold art in local galleries and high-end home stores, including Roche Bobois. She then spent 14 years in real estate, working in the Magnolia area for Windermere. From 2004 through 2011, she was a home staging consultant and owned and operated Practical Illusions Home Staging, also located in Firdale Village.
