Pesky weeds in the garden are irritating, and Edmonds Floretum Garden Club will address “Weed Control Strategies” during the third in a series of Saturday workshops on Saturday, Jan. 14 from 10 a.m.-noon.
The panel discussion will be presented by Master Gardeners from the garden club. They will discuss ways to prevent weeds and how to get rid of pesky, persistent weeds like buttercup, morning glory and other weeds which choke out or weaken plants in the garden. Participants are encouraged to ask the panel about their problem weeds from Scotch broom to horsetail, whatever needs attention.
The event will be in the meeting room of Coldwell Banker Bain at 108 5th Ave. S. in Edmonds. The public is welcome. A $2 donation is requested.
