From swearing in its two newly-elected councilmembers — Joan Bloom and Frank Yamamoto — to appointing a new president, the Edmonds City Council has many details to take care of during the first meeting of the new year Tuesday night.
In addition to the aforementioned tasks, the council is scheduled to:
– Assign councilmembers to committees and appoint members to the Snohomish County Health District Board and the Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area Corporation.
– Hear the annual report from the City Attorney.
– Discuss a code amendment to the Edmonds Historic Preservation Commission.
– Talk about the 2012 City Council Retreat.
