Once again, Edmonds schools are canceled – no classes, activities Friday

The Edmonds School District just announced classes and activities are canceled for Friday:

  • All schools and programs are closed for one day.
  • All after-school activities, evening events, and athletic practices are canceled.
  • School days lost for weather closures must be made up. Please update your calendars to reflect the following:
    • Tuesday, June 19 is now a full day of school;
    • Wednesday, June 20 is now a full day of school;
    • Thursday, June 21 is now a full day of school;
    • Friday, June 22 is now an early release;
    • Monday, June 25 is now an early release and the last day of school.
Additional Cancellations:
  • The Professional Development event with David Matteson scheduled for Friday, Jan. 20th at Beverly Elementary School and Lil’ Peoples World has been cancelled due to weather. This cancellation involves teachers and principals from Beverly Elementary, Spruce Elementary, Lynnwood Elementary, Mountlake Terrace Elementary, College Place Elementary and Cedar Valley Community School. Substitute teachers scheduled to support the K-3 teachers attending this professional development event are also cancelled. Please direct questions to Anne Arnold at ArnoldAn@edmonds.wednet.edu.
  • The Western Washington TSA Regional competition at Brier Terrace Middle School scheduled for Saturday, Jan 21, 2012 from 9am to 3pm is cancelled. The event is re-scheduled for next Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 from 9am to 3pm.
