Warriors vs. Monroe Thursday: Girls win 54-42, boys lose 58-57

Playing at home Thursday night, the Lady Warriors were even against Monroe until the second half, when they outscored the Bearcats 29-17.  Sixteen of those second-half points came from Madeline Kasper, who led all scorers with 26 — including five 3-pointers. Sidney Eck added 10 points and also grabbed nine rebounds.

The Warrior boys, meanwhile, traveled to Monroe, where they played a hard-fought contest against the Bearcats. E-W had a 40-38 lead over Monroe at the end of three quarters, but the Bearcats were able to pull out the one-point victory in the fourth.

The game was broadcast live on Warrior Radio and you can listen to the archive here. Our Revelations Yogurt Player of the Game was Devin Joseph, who scored 12 points and had seven steals for E-W.

Devin Joseph, shown earlier this season against Sultan, was named the Revelations Yogurt Player of the Game against Monroe Thursday night.
