Playing at home Thursday night, the Lady Warriors were even against Monroe until the second half, when they outscored the Bearcats 29-17. Sixteen of those second-half points came from Madeline Kasper, who led all scorers with 26 — including five 3-pointers. Sidney Eck added 10 points and also grabbed nine rebounds.

The Warrior boys, meanwhile, traveled to Monroe, where they played a hard-fought contest against the Bearcats. E-W had a 40-38 lead over Monroe at the end of three quarters, but the Bearcats were able to pull out the one-point victory in the fourth.
