Congratulations to the Edmonds-Woodway High School boys basketball team, which upset Wesco North champion Stanwood 58-54 on the Spartans’ home court Wednesday to advance to the next round of the District 1 basketball playoffs Saturday at Jackson High School.

The Warriors will meet Lake Stevens in a loser-out contest, starting at 6 p.m. Warrior Radio will be on hand for the live broadcast. The winner of the Saturday game will move on to regional competition next week.
