Lake Stevens hands Warrior boys 57-51 season-ending loss Saturday

Sophomore post Travis Bakken scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Edmonds-Woodway High School boys basketball team ended its season with a 57-51 loss to Lake Stevens in a District 1 4A, loser-out playoff game Saturday night.

Bakken was named the Warrior Radio Revelations Yogurt Player of the Game for his performance.

Junior Devin Joseph put in 14 points and senior Grant Pattison, playing his last game for E-W, added eight. Other seniors on the EWHS team included Sir Stephen Jackson, JJ Peterson and David Hansen. The Warriors finished the 2011-12 campaign with a 15-9 record under first-year Coach Steve Call.
