Snohomish County Public Utility District announced Monday that it has awarded a mini-grant for a science-related educational project at Terrace Park K-8 School in the Edmonds School District.
Through the grant, awarded to 4th-6th grade teachers Marilyn M. Hall and Stephanie Smith, students will extend their study of renewable energy and conservation through books and other resources. The students will share their research with other students through book talks and/or podcasts that will be put on teacher and library websites, the PUD said.
