The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that an alleged burglary suspect who was shot and killed inside a home in unincorporated Edmonds Tuesday night was the victim of homicide.
The dead man was identified as Kenneth Richard Talley, 26, of Edmonds. Talley died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso, the medical examiner said.
Sgt. Kevin Prentiss, spokesperson for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s office, said their investigation into the incident is continuing.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, when deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 8900 block of 225th Place Southwest. Preliminary information indicated Talley broke into a residence and was shot by the homeowner.
