Warrior wrestlers among best at NW District tourney

Friday and Saturday, the Edmonds-Woodway Warrior wrestlers are competing in the Northwest District Tournament, with the top six in each weight going to regionals. And since the Northwest District features three top 10 teams — Lake Stevens, Snohomish and E-W– some will argue this is the toughest district in the state.

The tournament starts Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Monroe High School and will feature some of the toughest individual wrestlers in the state.
