Italy 4 Real, a Pacific Northwest-based travel company specializing in tours to Italy and Europe, is sponsoring a free lecture and adventure series at the The Savvy Traveler, 112 5th Ave. S., in downtown Edmonds this Saturday, March 10.
Here are the featured sessions, with a question-and-answer period included between each:
10-10:45 a.m. – covers Northern Italy & Central Italy including romantic Verona, the home of Romeo & Juliet, and elegant Lake Maggiore. You’ll also hear about Piedmont (the region that produces the largest number of best known and prize-winning wines), and two of the most breathtaking regions of Italy: Umbria and Tuscany.
11 a.m.-noon – features Southern Italy and Sicily including gorgeous Italian ruins, stunning Roman mosaics and Moorish palaces. See the Bay of Naples, the Sorrentine coastline, the towns of the Amalfi coast and continue to Sicily and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
1-2 p.m.– Learn the practical side of planning a trip to Italy, from choosing the best route to knowing how to pick fun, authentic and original accommodations.
