Edmonds-area fire calls, week of March 1-7

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 378 calls the week of March 1–7: 313 emergency medical aid calls, 25 motor vehicle collisions, 19 fires, 8 service calls, 4 natural gas leaks and 9 automatic fire alarms. The following calls were in or near Edmonds:

 March 5

HOUSE FIRE:  At 6:10 a.m., a house fire was reported in the 11400 block of North Dogwood Lane in Woodway.  No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The house is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

 March 6

COLLISION:  At 2:13 p.m., a two-car collision occurred at 212th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds.  Firefighters transported two patients with minor injuries to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

March 7

COLLISION:  At 4:31 p.m., a car and a motorcycle collided at 212th Street Southwest and Highway 99 in Edmonds.  Firefighters transported the injured motorcyclist to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION:  At 6:10 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at the corner of 148th Street Southwest and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported two patients with minor injuries to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
