E-W freshman Chantz Justus was named the Edmonds Sports Academy Player of the Game for his relief pitching appearance against Snohomish, as the Warriors lost to the Panthers 6-5 in eight innings. Justus came into the non-league game in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and was able to shut down the Panthers, earning him the Player of the Game honor that was announced during the Warrior Radio broadcast.
The Warriors are set to face league rival Jackson High School Wednesday at 4 p.m. on E-W’s home field. That game will also be broadcast on Warrior Radio.

E-W pitcher Katelynn Lafferty hit a three-run home run in the first inning to lead the Warriors to an easy victory over the Spartans.
