Edmonds-based Fabric of Life Foundation looking for volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Fabric of Life Foundation, which operates the Fabric of Life Fair Trade Boutique in downtown Edmonds.  The Foundation is looking for people willing to fill specific volunteer hours:

Tuesdays: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Tuesdays:  1:30-5 p.m.
Thursdays:  10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Sundays (first and third Sundays of month): 1-5 p.m.

Those new to Fabric of Life will be paired with an experienced volunteer. The organization will provide orientation for new and current volunteers on Wednesday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. for new volunteers, and 6:15 p.m. for current volunteers.  The schedule includes:
5:30-6:15 p.m.  History, mission and on-the-ground poverty-alleviating programs
6:15-7 p.m.  Training/review on:
-Cash register procedures
-Gift Certificates
-Donations
-Exchange/Return procedures.
