EWHS jazz band to participate in annual Starbucks Hot Java Cool Jazz show March 30

The stage is set for Starbucks 17th Annual Hot Java Cool Jazz show as the region’s top young musicians — including the Edmonds-Woodway High School jazz band — come together Friday, March 30 for a special show at the Paramount Theatre.

Proceeds from the night’s performances benefit the music programs of the participating schools. Since 1995, Starbucks Hot Java Cool Jazz has raised more than $250,000 for participating schools’ music programs.

You can get your tickets surcharge-free at select Starbucks or at The Paramount box office. Tickets are also available online HERE. Note that if you buy your tickets at the drive-thru Starbucks on Highway 99 and 200th Street Southwest, all proceeds benefit Edmonds-Woodway. All money from tickets sold at other outlets (box office, online, and at the University Village store) will be divided equally among the schools, which also include Mountlake Terrace, Garfield, Roosevelt and Ballard high schools.
