Edmonds-area high school sports round-up for Thursday


Edmonds-Woodway 6, Cascade 2

Edmonds-Woodway’s Jorgen Arnesen was named the Edmonds Sports Academy Player of the Game for his pitching performance in the Warriors win over Cascade at home Thursday. The win give the Warriors an 8-1 league record.

The Warriors will travel to Cascade for an away game rematch against the Bruins Friday. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Warrior Radio.

Meadowdale 6, Lynnwood 5

The Mavs were led by Chris Osborne and Brian Marty, who both went 3-for-4. Meadowdale’s league record now stands at 5-2.

Shannon Haukup pitched a complete game three-hitter in the win over Mariner.
