Anything else we should know?: I have lived in the same house in Edmonds for my whole life and have only been out of the country twice, once to Mexico and once to Cuba for a missions trip with my mom. I think that travel is super important to understand the different cultures in the world, and I hope to someday experience the diversity of the world by traveling it.

Community Service: I volunteer a lot at my church. I help out with all of our youth group sponsored events, I help maintain the church grounds, and I actively serve in church services by providing music (both instrumental and vocal).
Culminating Project: I have been involved in the Seattle Children’s Chorus since I was six years old. This year for my senior project I am directing the SCC Men’s Chorus, Coro Vivo, on a song in the Spring SCC concert. Not only am I directing the choir, but I have also been volunteering at the SCC office, helping out with tasks related to my project.
Future Educational Goals: Next year I will be attending St. Olaf College in Minnesota. St. Olaf is nationally renowned for its prestigious music program. I am planning on majoring in music education, and perhaps minoring in German. After graduating from St. Olaf I would like to pursue a graduate degree in conducting.
Future Career Goals: After finishing school, I plan on teaching choir at either the high school or college level. I also would like to continue performing as a soloist, in choirs, and perhaps with my trumpet.
Anything else we should know? During high school I have had a very full load of AP and honors courses. This year I am taking AP Literature and Composition, AP European History, AP Calculus BC, and AP Music Theory. I clearly have a passion for music, but I am also very interested in German. I am currently taking German 3, and I am considering studying more German in college. I have immensely enjoyed the past four years at Meadowdale High School and I am sad to be leaving it behind; however, I am very excited at the prospects of the future and I cannot wait to see where my life takes me.

Future Educational Goals: McCaela is planning on attending Edmonds Community College to earn an AS Degree in chemistry. After that she intends to transfer to a four-year university.
Future Career Goals: McCaela has been considering a variety of possible careers in the area of human sciences.
Anything else we should know? McCaela has been featured in a story in the Everett Herald for her outreach in presenting the anti-bullying message. She is regularly invited to speak before students and will be conducting all day sessions for a teacher at a high school in our district.

Current Employment: Jacob works at McDonalds of Filbert and has been employed there for more than two years
Future Educational Goals: Would like to go to Musicians Institute in Hollywood or Berkeley Music School in Chicago, where several famous musicians have learned their craft
Future Career Goals: Be a famous musician playing metal; master carpenter; labor at Boeing
Anything else we should know? Jacob has the goals of getting a bigger band space (wants a space of 20’x30’ to accommodate a band of 5 members) and playing shows by this June, preferably at El Corazon and Showbox Sodo, all-ages venues
