From our friends at Lynnwood Today comes the news that Edmonds School District officials cancelled classes today, Friday, at Meadowdale High School because of a threat made on the Internet.
Lynnwood police learned about the threat last evening.
“It presented specific threat against student safety,” said police spokesperson Shannon Sessions. They are still investigating if it is credible, Lynnwood Today said.
Families and staff received a voicemail about the closure early Friday morning.
“We take this information seriously, and will provide additional information as it is available,” said a notice on the school’s website.
