Silver Screen Dreams come to Edmonds

This weekend the Seventh Annual performance by the Applause Players hits the Wade James Theatre.

According to leader Laura Pandora, “I write the scripts myself to ensure that all parts are large, there are no small roles and they are encouraged to add to the show. The show is a double feature with a tribute to the great Metro Goldwyn Mayer with excerpts from some of our favorites – Singing in the Rain, James Bond, Princess Bride, Pink Panther and more. Then Act II is our adaptation of The Wizard of Oz called ‘On The Road Again.’ You may recognize the characters, but there are a few twists and some great new music to enjoy. It’s geared to entertain both kids and adults and our cast is a great mix of all ages.”

Shows are Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 28 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Driftwood’s Wade James Theatre in Edmonds. Tickets at https://www.driftwoodplayers.com/season.asp
