Timebanking — an online system to help people exchange their talents, passions and resources — has come to Edmonds, and you can learn more at an appetizer and dessert potluck this Wednesday, May 16 at the Edmonds Senior Center.
The SWEL (Shoreline, Woodway, Edmonds and Lake Forest Park)Time Bank launched in Shoreline in November and started in Edmonds on Feb. 29. At its simplest, an hour you spend doing something for a SWEL Timebank member goes into the bank as a time hour. Then you have a time hour to spend having another SWEL member do something for you. People of all ages are welcome.
Here are the details for the upcoming orientation:
Wednesday, May 16
7-8:30 p.m.
