Scriber Lake students to hold book signing June 6

Fourteen writers of Scriber Lake High School are preparing to autograph their book, “We Are Absolutely Not Okay: Fourteen Stories by Teenagers Who Are Picking Up the Pieces,” on June 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Revelations Yogurt, 527 Main St., Edmonds.

Students designed the book cover and wrote the stories with the help of local author Ingrid Ricks. According to advisor Marjie Bowker, “Our authors are pretty special and are definitely very, very excited. The paperback cost is $9.95, and all proceeds will go to the Scriber Lake Writing Program, led by Ingrid and me (we’re hoping to continue our partnership into next year). Please join us for light appetizers, cake and frozen yogurt. It should be a great time to mingle with community fans of teen writers.”

An eBook will be available soon on Amazon, along with paperbacks. But to get signatures from all fourteen writers, you need to be there on June 6.
