Warriors take Wesco South baseball championship; face Lake Stevens Thursday

Edmonds-Woodway came away with an 8-6 baseball win over Marysville-Pilchuck and the Wesco South league championship, and now will move on to the Wesco District finals Thursday night, facing Wesco North champion Lake Stevens at 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Everett.

Warrior Radio named Jorgen Arneson the Edmonds Sports Academy Player of the Game after he came in with the bases loaded in relief and was able to hang on to ensure the Warriors’ victory. Starter Patrick Bernard got the win for Edmonds-Woodway. You can listen to the archive of Monday’s game here. Warrior Radio will also stream the audio of Thursday night’s game live.
