Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church continues its Justice Friday series with a program on “Support for the Quandaries Returning Soldiers Face” from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the church, 8109 224th St S.W.
The program will feature footage from “Grounds for Resistance,” a documentary about Coffee Strong, a veteran-run coffee house that supports service members at Joint Base Lewis McCord. Then hear a panel explain various ways soldiers are supported — by listening, by helping with benefits and referring for help, by speaking out, by finding work. You can also learn how civilians can support these efforts.
