Edmonds man makes top-of-the-world marriage proposal

Check out the romantic setting for this on-top-of-the-world marriage proposal by Logan Hardwick, a 2010 Edmonds-Woodway High School grad, to his girlfriend Bethanie Impson of Woodinville. The proposal occurred last weekend as the couple sat on the Seattle waterfront’s recently opened Big Wheel.

Hardwick said he decided to propose on the wheel “because I thought it would be awesome to have those 15 minutes afterward with a great view in a secluded spot to take in what just happened.” In addition, he noted, the wheel is located near where he fell in love with Impson “on a kayak adventure in our early days.”

The proposal involved a journal that the two have been keeping about each other since they met. Hardwick is seen making an entry on the wheel that  instructs Impson to look at him. When she did, he was on one knee proposing.

The couple plans to be married in May of next year.

  1. God bless you both. Sentimental, charming, devoted, and committed to the Lord’s purposes are Logan’s strong points. What a beautiful setting and a more beautiiful couple. Looking forward to seeing the future union be a great blessing to many.
