It’s just a few days away, so here are important details about the 30th annual A Taste of Edmonds, sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce Aug. 10-12.
Hours: Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Civic Playfield, 310 6th Ave. N, Edmonds
Admission: $3 (12 and under free)
New in 2012: Free admission until 3 p. m., on Friday, August 10 only.
Entertainment: Four stages of fabulous entertainment
Main Stage Headliners: Friday, Aug. 10 at 6:30 p. m., Blake Lewis, American Idol 2007 runner-up. Sat., August 11 at 8:30 p. m., British Export, Beattles Tribute Band; Sun., August 12 at 5:30 p. m., Heart By Heart, Music of Heart with some of the original members of the band
Food Booths: 40 food booths featuring a wide range of palatable delights.
Arts and Crafts Booths: More than 70 quality vendors offering original, hand-crafted work including jewelry, art, photography, clothing, pottery, glass, leather items and many other crafts.
Kids’ Area: Inflatables, pony rides, rock wall, a giant slide, model hydroplane racing, free craft activities and booths that cater to children.
The Kids’ Stage: Welcomed by the new 94.1 KMPS, it will showcase artists including Buck and Elizabeth, Reptile Isle, Roberto The Magnificent, a Juggling daredevil, the Not it’s, Tweenland featuring 5th Avenue Rent Actress Naomi Morgan, and Kids Comedian Eric Haines.
Free Shuttle: Coldwell Banker Bain Realty of Edmonds is sponsoring a shuttle will drop people off at the festival entrance on 7th Avenue North. The buses will depart and return to Edmonds-Woodway High School every 15 minutes, beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking and shuttle are free.
Wine Garden: Enjoy local wine from Walla Walla, and they will be pouring wine straight from the barrel.
