The Edmonds Planning Board at its Aug. 22 meeting will hold a workshop to learn more about the concepts presented by the Port of Edmonds regarding the Harbor Square Master Plan. This meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N.
According to Edmonds Planning Board member Neil Tibbot, the public is invited to learn alongside the board as the planning process continues. “The workshop is intended to provide background information and details leading up to this point in the City of Edmonds Comprehensive Plan amendment process,” he said.
The Harbor Square Master Plan was previously introduced to the Planning Board at its July 25 meeting, which can be viewed on Comcast Channel 21 and Frontier Channel 39 at 9 a.m. daily. Meeting minutes and related documents are also available on the City’s website. A public hearing will be held at a later date.
The Aug. 22 meeting will be videotaped and will be televised on channels 21 and 32 at 9 a.m.. daily starting Aug. 25.
Hello,
For those of us who aren’t really tied to the TV but would like the freedom to watch this any time, is it possible to post a digital copy on the City’s web site or YouTube?
Thanks. Tracy
Tracy – I am trying to get you an answer to this question. I serve on the Planning Board.
Yes it is possible to post video on the web site. It is also possible to have these meeting streamed live on the internet. We have already seen Europe Through the Back Door stream live presentations directly from the ECA to around the world.
For anyone who is really interested in contributing to what the Harbor Square concept will become, this workshop will be essential to take in. Whether you show up in person or see it online, you will want to hear what the Port has to say. I look forward to this workshop.
