Embellished to celebrate grand opening Thursday

Embellished, the newest place to gather in downtown Edmonds, is having its grand opening this Thursday. Here are more details, in our Q&A with co-manager Shae Reischling.

Q: What can people look forward to at Embellished?
A: At Embellished, we provide a very fun and unique experience! We have experienced instructors who walk you through a painting from start to finish using acrylic paints. While you are there, we have snacks, and wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages…music in the background, and fun all around. The price is $40, which includes all supplies, the two- to three-hour class, and your first glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. You also can eat as much as you want of our delicious snacks!

Q: What events do you have coming up?
A: Our Grand opening is on Aug. 16 from 4-10 pm. We will have live music, food and drawings every hour. At 4:30 p.m., the Chamber of Commerce is doing a ribbon cutting ceremony for us also!

Q: What are your hours?
A: Right now our hours are from 10 a.m. (if there is a morning class) until 10 p.m.

A: Only that it is a very fun experience and that we have a restaurant license so that kids can come also! No experience necessary either!
