Starting this Saturday, Aug. 4, dogs will be prohibited from the Edmonds Museum Summer Market. If you are looking for a place to leave your dog while you shop, consider the Saturday Market dog-sitting service offered by Edmonds’ own Posh Pooch Doggie Daycare and Boarding.
Simply drop your dog off at the black Posh Pooch van, which will be parked next to Petosa’s Family Grocer on 5th Avenue South, at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. and your dog will be safely transported up the hill to Posh Pooch headquarters in Edmonds’ Westgate neighborhood. Your dog will enjoy a safe, loving environment including a spacious backyard in which to romp — all for $13. All dogs will be returned to their owners at the same location on the hour — at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m.
Dogs need to be under 60 pounds and on a leash/lead, and they are accepted at Posh Pooches’ discretion. Longer care available at additional cost by request. For more information, call Posh Pooch at 425-361-1468.
This is really a shame if you ask me, I had seen Edmonds as a dog-friendly town. It seems to me there could have been some other reasonable solution to this issue rather than banning dogs.
Absolutely shameful! I can’t believe a dog friendly business is looking to profit from this crappy new policy. Posh Pooch you should be looking for ways to support including dogs in our community not helping or profiting from banning them!
