If you love to sing but your vocalizing so far has been confined to your shower, you are invited to attend Frank DeMiero’s annual free Arias in August Sing-Along to explore more musical exposure.
After a brief summer hiatus, members of the popular Sno-King Community Chorale will reunite at their regular rehearsal venue, Edmonds Community College’s Mill Creek Hall (Room 109), Aug. 21, 22 and 23, from 7–9:30 p.m. Whether your taste is Brahms or Be-bop, you’ll find it ― and lots in between ― on these fun-filled evenings.
“We are especially looking for tenors and basses,” said DeMiero. But of course no one is turned away.
There are no auditions for the chorale, which will start its 12th season with a stirring concert entitled “I Hear America Singing,” featuring the renowned Brothers Four as guest artists. The season will include a concert version of Les Misérables and a My Fair Lady sing-along. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, Sept. 4.
