Tents popping up at Civic Center mean Taste of Edmonds is almost here

Taste of Edmonds taking shape Wednesday.

Tents are taking over the Civic Center Field in downtown Edmonds, a sure sign that the annual A Taste of Edmonds festival is just around the corner.

The third-largest festival in the state of Washington, the Taste is celebrating its 30th anniversary this Friday-Sunday. The event is sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, and Chamber President Ron Clyborne encourages those out-of-towners visiting the Taste this year to also “head just a couple blocks south to experience downtown Edmonds and our beautiful waterfront.”

As a reminder, here are the details of this weekend’s event:

When: Aug. 10-12, 2012, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
