Edmonds City Council to address employee compensation, budget, consider Paine Field resolution

The Edmonds City Council will bring back one item it didn’t have time for at last week’s meeting — the Nonrepresented Employee Compensation Study and policy discussion — and will also consider some new items Tuesday night.

The agenda includes:

— A resolution opposing the implementation of expanded commercial and passenger air service at Everett’s Paine Field, in light of a Sept. 12 Federal Aviation Administration report “that failed to account for cumulative impacts from a potential increase in the number of future flights.”

— A 2o13 budget work section, scheduled to last an hour.

– Report on outside committee/board meetings.

– Mayor’s comments

– Council comments

You can see the entire agenda here. Prior to the regular meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. , the council will meet in executive session at 6:15 p.m. to discuss labor negotiations.
