Edmonds resident captures retired space shuttle as it flies by Golden Gate Bridge

Edmonds resident Chris Fleck sent us this photo, taken Friday, of the retired Space Shuttle Endeavour framed by the Golden Gate Bridge as it was transported — on the back of a 747 — from Sacramento to its permanent home at a Los Angeles museum. Fleck was in the Bay Area with his brother and they went to the Marin Headlands Friday to witness the shuttle flying by.

  1. AMAZING picture Chris! I have seen many this weekend of the piggy back space shuttle over California, and enjoyed them all. But catching it in this window…. WOW!!!
