The Edmonds-Woodway High School music program released this schedule of activities for September:

Sept. 18: Music Boosters “Back-to-School BBQ” Tuesday. Music students and their families are invited to attend the BTS BBQ this Tuesday 6:00pm to 8:30 p.m.

Sept. 20, 21, 22: Uniform Fitting for Band Students. Students can sign up for fittings this Thursday, 1:45pm until about 3:00pm; Friday morning from 7:30am until 12 noon; Saturday from 10am until 1pm.

Sept. 21:  M(EW)SIC wear orders are due. 

Sept. 21: For Choir students, paperwork and money for the Choir Retreat and the Men’s Workshop is due.

Sept. 21-23: The Wind Symphony Retreat is at Fort Casey this weekend.  Transportation is via district buses. Students will be staying overnight in retreat lodging (military barracks) two nights. The cost will be $110 per student.  Checks for this should be made out to Edmonds School District.  Please submit payments to e ASB office.

Sept. 27: Dedication Concert for our Steinway Piano with John Hansen Trio, Jazz I and the Mello-Aires. The public is invited to celebrate the new Steinway Grand Piano generously donated by Mary Allen and the EW Music Booster Club. The evening will feature EWHS’s award-winning Mello-aires and Jazz Ensemble I, plus Seattle Jazz pianist and composer: John Hansen with Jon Hamar (bass) and Adam Kessler (drums). Join us in the EWHS Little Theater at 7:30pm. $5 suggested donation.

Sept. 28-29: Bel Canto Retreat at Camp Burton on Vashon Island.

Fundraising: The Entertainment Book Sale will begin soon. This year Wind Symphony will be selling Entertainment Books. More details about this fundraiser are on the Fundraiser Release form.
