The Sno-Isle Libraries’ Issues That Matter series is presenting a forum on Referendum 74, which would legalize marriage for same-sex couples, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Edmonds Community College Black Box Theatre, 20000 68th Ave. W.,
Lynnwood.
The forum will include a panel discussion exploring the pros and cons of Referendum 74 to ratify or reject Senate Bill 6239, which passed the Legislature this year and would allow same-sex couples to marry in Washington. Free and open to the public, audience members will have the opportunity to submit questions through moderator Marshall Goldberg. Panelists include Joseph Backholm, Dr. Joe Fuiten, State Rep. Marko Liias, and retired Judge Anne Levinson.
