Our ‘Forever Home’ Dog of the Week: Hugo (and a reminder about Bobby)

Hugo

My Edmonds News presents the Dog of the Week, Hugo, a 10-month-old male Rottweiler mix, from Forever Home Dog Rescue. Here is Hugo’s story:

I was surrendered to Forever Home Dog Rescue because my dad had to move out of state for work. I’m loving my foster home. Lots of other dogs and kids to play with. I’m housebroken and crate trained so I’m very easy to take care of. I don’t do so well on a leash yet, but I’m a smart dog and will learn quickly, if you’re willing to teach me. I love to play with toys and can play fetch all day. I’m a pretty mellow guy and a great companion.

Hugo is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, flea/tick treated. Adoption fee is $350.

We were also asked to remind our readers of another sweet dog available for adoption, Bobby, a 3-year-old male Black Lab mix.

Bobby

My family had to move me due to some changes in the family and housing. I miss my family, but I’m having a lot of fun in my foster home. There are lots of other little dogs to play with and my foster dad plays ball with me for hours at a time. I always get the ball before the other dogs and sometimes even catch it in the air. I love to cuddle or just curl up in my dog bed at night. I know some basic commands, like “sit”, “lay down” and “come.” I’m a very smart dog and can learn more if you’d like to teach me. I would love to have a new home with room to run or lots of visits to a dog park so I can get exercise. I’m very curious about cats, but so far, minding my manners with the cats in my foster home. I have been neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $350.
