Megan Drobnicki, head coach of the District Special Olympics team and teacher at Scriber Lake High, was named the Northwest Coach of the Year by Special Olympics Washington (SOWA).
Drobnicki was honored at the SOWA annual coaches’ conference on Sept. 15.
