“Movies Under the Stars” at Swedish/Edmonds wraps up its 2012 summer season with “Despicable Me,” shown on the second- floor café patio, near the water feature, on Sept. 7 at 7:15 p.m.
Chair seating will be available for the first 200 people. Moviegoers may also bring a blanket and sit on the lawn above the patio area. In the event of inclement weather, seating will be available inside the café. Complimentary fresh popcorn and lemonade will be served.
“Despicable Me,” rated PG, lasts 1 hour, 35 minutes. In the 2010 animated feature, starring the voice of Steve Carell, a criminal mastermind, Gru, uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme and he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better.
