Girls soccer 4A district playoffs

Edmonds-Woodway 4, Lake Stevens 0

After going scoreless in the first half, Edmonds-Woodway (12-3-1) put on a second-half soccer clinic against Lake Stevens Saturday afternoon, downing the Vikings 4-0 at Edmonds Stadium. Scoring E-W’s goals, which all came after the 63rd minute, were Rylee Peterson, who had two; Lindsay Aranda and Alyse Pattison.  Savanah VanCitters had two assists with Kalia Machado adding one. Goalie Kiera Towell got the shutout for the Warriors, who will play the top seed from the Wesco North — Snohomish –Tuesday night at Snohomish in the 4A district semifinals.
