Edmonds police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a naked man who was discovered by a student in the Edmonds-Woodway High School girls’ locker room earlier this week.
According to Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mike Blackburn, the student notified a coach, who contacted police. When officers arrived at the high school at 6:38 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, “The man fled from the locker room, taking his belongings with him, without further contact or conversation with the student,” Blackburn said. “No other student-athletes were in the locker room at the time.”
High school administrators provided police with film footage taken from a surveillance camera near the gymnasium exit door, and police worked with school district officials to notify Edmonds-Woodway families about the incident, Blackburn said. “At the same time, school staff took steps to ensure that all gymnasium and locker room doors are locked after regular class hours and that students participating in after-school activities are in the company of a responsible adult,” he added.
Although Edmonds Police detectives are already exploring leads in this case, those with information about the incident are asked to call the department’s Tip Line at 425-771-0212.
So, if you want public help shouldn’t you at least tell us what the man looked like!?!?!? Or is there some sort of styupid privacy element here, or perhaps some political aspect, eh what?!?!?!
