Sno-King Community Chorale cancels November concert

Due to an illness involving a member of guest artist, The Brothers Four, the Nov. 4 Sno-King Community Chorale concert, “I Hear America Singing,” has been canceled.

“Regretfully, The Brothers Four have announced a temporary hiatus from their remaining promotional and live performance appearances through the end of December 2012 on doctors’ orders, while bassist Bob Flick rests and recuperates from a viral throat condition,” the chorale said in an announcement. Flick is expected to make a full recovery.

The Chorale’s ECA performances will now include two: “Holiday Magic: Hear Comes Santa Claus” on Dec. 8, and “Ticket to Broadway: A ‘My Fair Lady’ Sing-alongon June 8. Both concerts will be at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410-4th Ave. N. Call 425-275-9595 for more information.

The 100-voice Chorale will present a concert version of “Les Misérables” at its annual Musica da Coro concert held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood on March 23. Tickets may be purchased at www.sno-kingchorale.org or 425-673-1272.
