Top-level review for Cascade Symphony Orchestra

Monday night marked the opening of the 2012-13 Cascade Symphony Orchestra season, led by conductor Michael Miropolsky, and Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling offered this rave review of the featured soloist, who is principal trumpet with the Seattle Symphony. “David Gordon played the Hummel Trumpet Concerto flawlessly this evening. Flawlessly! A real adventure,” said Earling, who should know. He’s a former music professor at Shoreline Community College who plays — what else? — the trumpet.

  1. I agree–This was a fabulous performance. I also thought the Firebird was a show stopper–WOW did it set the place a fire!!. We should be so proud of our superb Orchestra!!!
