Had a school lunch lately? Here’s your chance, Dec. 5

The Edmonds School District is inviting you to have lunch with Superintendent Nick Brossoit Dec. 5 — and actually sample a student lunch in the process.

An RVSP is required for this special Superintendent Roundtable event, which focuses on the district’s School Meals Program with an update on the Move 60! program funded by the Verdant Health Commission.

A maximum of 75 school meals will be provided — the same food options being served that day in the district’s elementary schools.  You’ll have a choice of two entrées: 1) Macho Nachos or 2) Strawberry yogurt and string cheese with Sports Bite cookies. A fresh fruit and vegetable bar compliments each entrée selection.

Email your RSVP, including your entrée selection, to DJ Jakala (jakalad@edmonds.wednet.edu) by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4. The meal is complimentary and being funded by Edmonds School District Community Relations.
